Whatever the case I'll probably get an SSD either way, just cause platter based systems tend to feel horrible once you're used to SSDs, and a TB drive or so for the other internal slot, and a few other drives for backups. The HDD is the bottleneck everywhere, of this I am convinced! But yeah, I just can't justify the costs, no matter how much I envy the performance. In some of the benchmarks it was apparent that the HDD is the mini's performance bottleneck, which could be mitigated by that rpm drive. Maybe that's the way to go until SSD prices go down and those cables are available. I'd simply have to sacrifice more than I'm willing to. I've seen them in use and the HDD bottleneck is incredibly obvious, I'm just not willing to spend so much money for so little albeit incredibly fast storage. Really SSD pricing is just too ludicrous for me.
